What is ready to rig?
A ready to rig model consists only in making an illustration divided in layers just like this image:

Why is it done this way?
Unlike 3D models that manage to have three dimensions, a Live2D avatar only counts with two dimensions. So the rigging consists in deforming the illustration to give the illusion of being a traditional anime style animation. If you know about Flash animations, this kind of animation techinque may result you familiar.
In other words, rigging is the task of giving movement to an illustration, either for videagames, artistic videos or in this case, the creation of an avatar that captures your facial movements!
So when we are talking about an illustration Ready to rig for Live2D, we are referring only to an illustration prepared for rigging.
Make sure to find a person that makes good riggings!
It is as important as the same art and a good rigging can enhance a lot the experience.
